This weekend I was given the opportunity to participate in a local author’s new book launch. He reached out to me after being recommended to me by a good customer of mine and asked if I would cater the cake and pastries for his event. I of course said yes, absolutely! The story takes place in Paris, France so he wanted French themed desserts. More specifically pastries that he featured throughout his book. Pictured are cinnamon and pear palmiers, croissants both classic and chocolate hazelnut filled, and the cake is a “cup of hot cocoa” you would sip at a cafe in Paris. This order was a lot of fun as well as a learning experience to challenge me. I am very proud of myself and happy with how each dessert turned out, and I am extremely grateful and appreciative for my small business to have been thought of for such an opportunity. 😌🥐☕️🇫🇷
