Now this one should get your attention!

We had just installed a full custom rail system for this Customer and after we finished they asked if we would build them a custom lift out dock . As you know we build many custom lift outs in the area . We know there are a small number of companies that all build their own version of the "Vermilion style " lift out.
Well this is our steel design. This dock is a 40' long by 6' wide , cedar decked beauty!
As you can see our docks are built to last generations. These docks all though look heavy are engineered and built for strength, rigidity and lightweight.
We specialize is creating an extremely strong dock with clean lines and well proportioned esthetics.
We can and do color match to cabins , boat houses and boats if you like . This dock is a beautiful charcoal gray to color match a brand new boathouse . With black hidden legs , galvanized feet pads to last many years and a black padding all the way around to protect your boats and pontoons . We know these toys are great investments and we do everything to protect them.

Well, Today we were able to get back and finish our project we started earlier this week. This amazing customer is doing a complete remodel of a large hotel and restaurant about 60 miles from here . He had received our name and referral from our metal supplier. Asked if we can do a custom stainless steel railing in his pool area . Well of course we can . 😊 We went with a simple yet modern design. All hand fitted and tig welded on site . Our customer loved it and now he is able to open his pool area. He just happens to be housing a large group of our National Guard up here to help with the fires .

Today, we shut down the shop and four of us volunteered to head up to Loon Falls Portage and help Charlie set up a sprinkler system for the Portage. The Feds were kind enough to drop off a boat load of gear and equipment. Literally..lol . We were able to set up 3 pumps and a couple three thousand feet of hose . And close to 50 sprinkler heads . We were able to set up 3 zones to cover the complete rail system, the cabins and all the out buildings, fuel shed and a large amount of property. As most of the area knows this mechanical Portage is a critical part of the economy for many businesses in the area. As well as a very limited access point into the BWCA . We are so glad we could help!

Here's a picture of the area we are in. As you can see, we are very close to the fires . We are the blue dot . We are available 24/7 for any emergency equipment repairs for any fire fighting teams all along the border . We can and do steel, aluminum, stainless all mobile , Anything you need .

Today we were out in the field doing a multi day job in Hibbing, MN and received an emergency call from USFS for a broken down Terex Scout. A tracked wildland fire fighting machine brought in feom North Dakota, Asked if we could help them out . Told them absolutely. We will get rolled up and head that way. Found the closest gravel pit away from any and all vegetation. "Definitely dont need more fires!"
Couple hours we had him back up and running .

These machines and this fire fighting equipment takes an absolute beating in the forest battling these fires . And the Wildland Fire Fighters are just as tough and Bad Ass! ! Thank you for all you do and thank you for your Business!

This job was for a fantastic customer of ours . That we have had the privilege to build some pretty cool stuff for . This Houseboat company did some rebuilds on a few boats over the winter and wanted to upgrade the railings all around top and bottom decks on both boats . So we came up with a plan for a custom aluminum system for them and got to work . This job was actually last season , but they turned out so nice I thought I'd share with you all .

We finally received a few good rain showers today. What a blessing !

Even though the rain came and left on and off today . It surely didn't stop us . We spend part of the day replacing old rusted and broken cables on rail systems for customers with new marine grade cable and hardware. This rail was located on beautiful Birch Lake in Babbit, MN. We also had stops in Tower and Orr today.
