I am sooooo ready for cool, crisp nights, cozy blankets and the colors of Autumn!

I love summer, but humidity, not so much.

Michigan is such a great place to live with the chance of seasons and I welcome each one of them.

Autumn has all the earthy colors and the trees put on a spectacular show. The plants and animals are getting ready for a long nap.

I will be lucky to spend some time up north this fall enjoying our property we purchased and exploring all the beautiful wonders of the upcoming season.

We LOVE when a customer tells us, “Use your artistic freedom!” 🌸

Flowers are seasonal, and some of the most beautiful locally grown varieties are available for only a couple of weeks each year. When you give our designers the freedom to choose what’s looking especially gorgeous that week, we can play with color, texture and those fun, whimsical blooms that make an arrangement truly special.

The photos on our website are representations of our style—not paint-by-number recipes. Substitutions give us the opportunity to use the freshest, most beautiful flowers available and create something with personality.

We are ready for cozy candles, rich earthy colors and no humidity!

I think Autumn is our favorite. You still can get those warm days but nature puts on such a beautiful show that I can’t help but take a million leaf 🍁 pictures 📸

Five-star reviews seriously make our day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a recovering people-pleaser, I’ll admit—they’re the little pat on the back that reminds me we’re doing something right. 🥰

We recently received the sweetest review from a customer who is loving her bi-weekly floral subscription, and it made me so happy. We are looking for an experienced part-time floral designer to join our growing floral and gift shop 2 to 3 days per week, including Saturdays.

Has 2+ years of experience in floral design

Can confidently create everyday floral arrangements with speed and attention to details

Enjoys helping customers and providing exceptional customer service

Is dependable, punctual and takes pride in their work

Is comfortable using a Point-of-sale computer system

Works well independently while also being a supportive team member

Brings positive energy, initiative, and isn't afraid to share new ideas

This position is perfect for someone who doesn't just want to arrange flowers - they want to be part of creating an exceptional customer service experience.

I saw this at a funeral home. The thing about 1-800-flowers is that they are not arranged!

Always check to make sure the floral shop you use is owned by real people. Read the about page, check their socials.

1-800- flowers is a disgrace to our industry and makes people frustrated with sending flowers.

Also, never order flowers directly off the funeral homes website. I’ll explain more on that later.
