🍎🎃 **The Scout’s First Apple Orchard Adventure!** 🎃🍎

Well, we finally took the Scout to Edward's Apple Orchard-West for her very FIRST apple orchard visit! 🚙🍂

She got to pose in front of the beautiful red barns, hang out with the pumpkins, and soak up one last bit of fall sunshine. I think she enjoyed her little adventure! 😂❤️

Around here, our love for vintage goes beyond home decor! ❤️ At Route 2 Relics, we love hunting for vintage treasures to fill your home, but we also have a soft spot for vintage cars, trucks, and tractors. There’s just something about the character, history, and stories behind old things that gets us every time! 🧡

Unfortunately, the cooler weather is rolling in this weekend, which means this *might* be the Scout’s last outing of the season. 🥶 It’s almost time for her to get tucked into bed for the winter. 💤

She may be dreaming of apples, pumpkins, and next year’s adventures already! 🍎🎃

❤️ **THIS is one of my favorite parts of Route 2 Relics!** ❤️

I had a repeat customer stop in today, and she purchased my antique adjustable school desk and chair! 🪑✨ And then she sent me this picture of how she styled it in her home. 😍

First of all, how cute is this little corner?! 🍂🌿 I love how she decorated the desk for fall, and even the chair gets its own little plant! 🪴❤️

And the best part? She’s already excited to decorate it for Christmas! 🎄 I can’t wait to see what she does with it next!

One of the greatest joys of having Route 2 Relics is seeing the treasures I find and bring into the shop become part of someone else’s home. Knowing these pieces are being loved, styled, and given a new chapter makes all the treasure hunting worth it.

And when customers come back to visit, share their finds, and let me see how they’re enjoying their pieces? **That’s the good stuff.** 🥹❤️

Christmas is continuing to make its way into Route 2 Relics! 🎄✨

A few more vintage holiday treasures are heading into the shop, and I couldn’t wait to share a little sneak peek!

✨ A gorgeous 1984 Noel Beam’s Musical Bell Decanter from the Executive Series — complete with its original box. I love the ivory, gold and black details on this one, and the bell shape makes it such a fun vintage Christmas collectible!

✨ A collection of vintage purple glass teardrop ornaments — these are SO pretty when the light catches that deep purple, almost iridescent color. Perfect for adding a little vintage personality to a Christmas tree!

✨ And a sweet vintage white ceramic angel candle holder — simple, classic and the kind of Christmas piece that feels right at home with vintage holiday decor. ❤️

I love bringing these little pieces of Christmas past into the shop. There’s just something about vintage Christmas that makes decorating feel a little more special. 🎄

Well hello again!! 👋🏻 It’s been a minute! 😅

I’ve been pretty nonexistent on socials because I got hit with a HORRIBLE case of vertigo. 🥺🤢 I couldn’t move without throwing up, so needless to say, social media—and pretty much everything else—took a backseat for a bit!

But I’m back and slowly getting the shop back together! ❤️

I’ve *mostly* got everything rearranged, and I’ve been busy pulling out a LOT of vintage Christmas! 🎄✨ There’s still more to put out, but I couldn’t wait any longer to give you a little peek at the shop all (almost!) decked out for Christmas.

I know it’s early… but is it???? 🤭🎄

Around here, I say it’s **never too early for vintage Christmas!** ❤️

🍂 What a DAY!!! 🍂

First, a HUGE thank you to Wave Avenue for putting together Fall Market in the Park and for continuing to support all of us small businesses and our crazy entrepreneurial adventures! 🧡

Events like this take so much work behind the scenes, and I’m so grateful for people who create opportunities for small businesses to get out there and connect with their communities.

And I have to give a big shoutout to my awesome mother-in-law, who spent the day helping me man the Route 2 Relics booth! ❤️ It was so much fun getting to spend the day together, and I’m so thankful she was there with me.

Today was SO MUCH FUN!
I saw so many old friends, got to catch up with people I haven’t seen in forever, and met lots of new faces. 🥰

But one of my absolute favorite parts of the day?

Hearing people tell me they’ve been following Route 2 Relics on Facebook and Instagram! 🥹❤️

Seriously… that makes my heart so happy.

Knowing that you’re watching, following along, and cheering me on from behind your screens means more than you probably realize.

And for everyone who stopped by today and told me you want to come check out the shop—I can’t wait for you to come discover Route 2 Relics! 🏡✨

🍂 Getting Ready for Fall Market in the Park! 🍂

It’s officially time to get the vintage fall & winter clothing organized and ready for Saturday! 🧡

I pulled out some of my favorites for Fall Market in the Park, and let me tell you… these wool skirts are GOOD. 😍

And that Kimberly skirt set?! ❤️ I absolutely love it. There’s just something about vintage pieces like these—the fabrics, the details, the quality… they just don’t make them quite the same anymore.

I’ll have a selection of vintage fall & winter clothing with me, along with lots of other vintage treasures from Route 2 Relics!
