Our pottery comes directly from a variety of factories in Poland such as Zaklady Boleslawiec, Vena, Cer-Raf, and Cergor. Majority of our pieces are from the UNIKAT collection bearing the artist's signature. It can be used daily as it is chip resistant, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe. There is only a limited quantity of Polish Pottery available as to this day it is hand made. Please browse our GreenGoosePottery.com website for a variety of Polish Pottery bakeware, serving pieces, mugs, tea and coffee sets, bowls, spoons, ladles, butter dishes, salt and pepper sets, and decorative items. Green Goose offers some unique patterns not found on other websites or retail stores. Why do storks choose Poland over every other country on Earth?

One in four of the world’s white storks — over 52,000 breeding pairs — nests in Poland every summer. Some Polish villages have more stork nests than houses. The village of Żywkowo in northeastern Poland has 40 residents and over 100 storks.

The reason is simple: Poland still has what storks need. Vast wetlands. Traditional farming without industrial pesticides. Wooden rooftops perfect for nesting. Open meadows full of frogs and insects. While Western Europe paved over its marshes, Poland preserved them.

Poland did not just protect its wildlife. It gave them a reason to stay.
