My 48x48 is finally hung up.

This board is a pressure treated pine.

We hung it where it would have less exposure to the sun, rain and elements.

This type of quilt will not last as long as acm. But that’s ok, I really wanted to make a weathered looking Barn Quilts by Rosie on wood. 💗

I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome of this new technique, which I have adapted for my use. I will be offering workshops on the Barn Quilts by Rosie technique in the future. The board utilized is a weathered pressure-treated pine. Barn Quilts by Rosie 💗

Not quite finished here.

Next step
Is to take a circular sander to it and make it look weathered

Then, apply antique glaze, then polyurethane it!

She’ll be done in a couple
If weeks. 💖
