Do you have a builder grade plastic shower/ tub enclosure you’re not completely in love with? Hanging a shower curtain almost to the ceiling is a quick and affordable fix. I’m not sure why I waited 8 years to do it!

I can honestly say that there’s never been a time when I didn’t love my home. That’s not to say that I haven’t looked back at photos and cringed, but in those moments, I loved it. There’s something to be said for choosing to be grateful and being proud of what you’ve accomplished in that moment.

Replacing your lampshade is an affordable way to give your old lamp new life without a $400 price tag. When did lamps start costing so much anyway! In my case this cute new shade was quite possibly the best bargain I have ever found in my entire life!

If this was your kitchen what would you change?

Every January I make a somewhat realistic list of things I’d like to do to improve our home. At the top of my list this year is replacing the microwave with a curved range hood. I’m super intimidated by the process and the cost- this is obviously something I will have to buy and pay to install since we are very sub par DIYers. I’m not quite sure where to even begin, so if you’ve done this and you have any tips, please send them my way.
