Today is the last day of my art show at the Cambridge City Library, 600 W. Main Street, Cambridge City, Indiana — and the library closes at 6 PM tonight. If you’ve been meaning to stop by, this is your final chance before everything comes down.

I really hate increasing my prices, but after today these pieces will be heading to other shows where I’ll have to pay entry fees and commissions. Because of that, the prices will have to go up. I’ve kept them as low as possible for this exhibit because the library didn’t charge me anything, and I wanted to pass that blessing on.

It’s been such a peaceful experience — watching people pause in front of a painting, smile, and share what it reminds them of. Those moments are the heart of why I paint. Art connects us, brings back memories, and gives a little calm in the middle of everything life has been lately.

If you haven’t visited yet, today is the perfect day. Walk through, take your time, and enjoy the colors and stories woven into each piece before the show closes at 6.

Commission Work:
I also offer commission pieces for those who want something personal and meaningful — whether it’s a favorite landscape, a memory from a photo, or a piece that fits a specific room or color palette. I have several shows lined up for the rest of the year, and I’ll be sharing dates and locations soon. These upcoming venues will have standard pricing because of entry fees and commissions, but they’ll also feature new work and fresh pieces I’ve been quietly preparing. I wanted to share a little update about my art show at the Cambridge City Library, located at 600 W. Main Street, Cambridge City, Indiana. The opening night has passed, but the show continues through August 31st, and this is the final week to see it.

I haven’t advertised this show much — with everything that happened after the flood, life has felt a bit upside down. But these paintings are still hanging, and this is the last time they’ll be available at these prices. After the 31st, they’ll be moving to other shows where I’ll have to pay entry fees and commissions, and the prices will need to go up to cover those costs. I hate that reality, but it’s part of the art world.

This show has been special to me because the library didn’t charge me anything to exhibit, and I wanted to pass that blessing on to others. It’s been a quiet, meaningful experience — seeing people pause in front of a painting, smile, and tell me what it reminds them of. That’s what art is for: connection, memory, and peace.

As this month’s art show at the Cambridge City Library comes to a close on August 31st, my heart has been pulled in a different direction than I expected. With the flooding in our area, art is understandably the last thing on anyone’s mind. People are rebuilding, recovering, and trying to find their footing again. And in moments like these, I’m reminded of why this library means so much to me.

During Kevin’s illness — and even after his passing — the library became a quiet place where I could breathe for a moment. Sometimes I just needed to step out of the house, sit among the shelves, and let my mind settle. The staff there were always kind, always welcoming, and never once made me feel rushed or out of place. It was a small refuge during a very heavy season of life.

So while this exhibit was originally planned as a celebration of creativity, I think it has become something simpler and more meaningful. A place to step inside, take a breath, and let your mind rest for a moment. No pressure, no expectations — just a peaceful space in the middle of everything life is throwing at us.

I’m grateful to the Cambridge City Library for hosting my work this month, but even more grateful for the way they serve this community every single day. If you need a quiet moment, a warm smile, or just a place to sit and gather yourself, they’re there — just like they were for me.

The show ends August 31st, but the comfort this place has given me will stay with me much longer.

There’s something special about painting a beloved pet — it’s like capturing a piece of someone’s heart on canvas. I’m incredibly grateful to the Cambridge City Library for hosting a full‑month exhibition of my paintings throughout August. It’s truly an honor to have my work displayed in a space that celebrates creativity and community.

Opening night was unforgettable — thank you to everyone who came out, shared your enthusiasm, and made the evening so special. Your support means more than you know.

There’s a little voice in my life who has a way of turning even an ordinary day into something special. Whenever we plan to do something — whether it’s a trip, a visit, or just a fun little outing — my great‑grandson counts down with so much excitement. And when the day finally arrives, he doesn’t just say it… he walks around telling everyone he sees, “Today’s the day!” with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen.

And honestly, that’s exactly how my heart feels right now.

Tonight at 5:30 PM, the doors open for my art show at the Cambridge City Public Library, 600 W. Main Street, and I’m carrying that same childlike joy he spreads everywhere he goes. These paintings have been months of prayer, color, quiet mornings, and moments where Abba Father whispered inspiration into my heart. Yahusha has guided every brushstroke, and now I finally get to share it all with you.

If you’ve been needing a reason to smile, to breathe, to feel something gentle and beautiful — I hope tonight gives you that. I’d love to see you, hug you, and celebrate this moment together.
