As we sit here reflecting on this past weekends 5 Year Anniversary Celebration, we’re honestly struggling to find the words to express how grateful we are.
This was the biggest weekend in Black Cat Vintage history….and yes, we know we say that every time we hit a new milestone but somehow, over the last five years, you all continue to show up and help us reach new heights we never thought were possible.
This weekend we welcomed visitors from New York, North Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Michigan, Tennessee, Illinois, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, West Virginia, and so many other places! Whether you drove five minutes or five hours, thank you for choosing to spend your weekend celebrating with us.
Black Cat Vintage is so much more than a store. It is made up of over 60 incredible vendors who spend countless hours hunting, curating, creating, cleaning, pricing, styling, and constantly refreshing their spaces to make every visit feel special. This weekend’s success belongs to them just as much as it belongs to us.
We also had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and celebrating something incredibly special; our very first in-store only glass release with Mosser Glass. Watching the excitement around the Plum Owl Fairy Lamp was something we’ll never forget, and seeing it completely sell out was beyond our wildest expectations.
A huge thank you also goes to Mackenzie with Kenzie's Kitschy Keeps for coming to support us and helping throughout the weekend, Maddys Cat Rescue for being part of the celebration and helping make the weekend even more special, we TRULY couldn’t do what we do without our friends who step in when it’s most needed without even being asked ❤️
Thank you to our employees (Tessa, Abba, Anna and Jennifer), vendors, friends, family, and every single customer who has supported Black Cat Vintage over the last five years. The team behind BCV truly is a dream team, and we are so fortunate to be surrounded by people who believe in what we’re building.
Five years ago, Black Cat Vintage was just a dream. Today, because of all of you, it’s a thriving community. We cannot wait to see what the next five years bring!
