Because I am OBSESSED with these new Stars Hollow hoodies that just landed 😍 The front is cute… but WAIT until you see the back 👀

These are absolutely giving cozy fall in Stars Hollow and I do not think they’re going to last long!

✨ **MEET YOUR MAKER MONDAY** ✨

This week, meet **Dick Wanex, the maker behind DoCo LoCo Designs!**

Dick has been creating for about **3 years**, but working with his hands is nothing new — he’s a **retired carpenter** with a real appreciation for how things are made.

One of the things he enjoys most is taking things apart, especially **antiques**, because he loves seeing the craftsmanship and skill that went into older pieces.

That same appreciation shows up in his own work. Dick creates **one-of-a-kind pieces** because the materials he uses are never exactly the same twice. Here at Star Child, you can find his **upcycled antique and driftwood creations**, each with its own character and story.

And when he isn’t creating? He enjoys **running and learning new things.**

A couple fun facts about Dick:
💧 Coffee or tea? **Neither — water!**
🌞 Morning person or night owl? **Both!**
🐶 Cats or dogs? **Dogs**
💙 Favorite color? **Blue**

We love having makers like Dick in the shop — people who can look at something old, forgotten, or weathered and see what it could become.

Calling all makers, artists, oddities creators, mystical minds, and wonderfully weird humans… 👀🔮🖤

We’re looking to add a few NEW vendors to The Star Child family — especially creators with unique items that make people stop and say, “OMG… I need this.”

Vendor spaces range from a $25 mini shelf all the way up to a 6x4 Artist Feature Wall Space — with ONE large space available September 1st!

We’re especially looking for:

🧚 Fairy houses & whimsical decor
🧹 Witchy brooms
🌿 Nature wreaths
💜 Sage & lavender bundles
🍯 LOCAL HONEY — our customers ask for this constantly!
🧺 Basket weavers
🎐 Handmade wind chimes
🧶 Crochet CLOTHING makers
👗 Handmade clothing of any kind
👜 Handmade bags & purses
💌 Local Cambridge/Eastern Shore postcards
🎨 Unique art
🌙 Mystical, metaphysical, spiritual, goth & witchy creations
✨ And anything unusual we haven’t even thought of yet!

We LOVE finding things you don’t see everywhere else.

At this time, we are not accepting candle makers, soap makers, blown glass, laser-cut items, 3D-printed items, crochet blankets or crochet stuffies.

🌟 KID ARTISTS ARE WELCOME TOO! 🌟
We currently have 4 young artists ages 7–13 selling their creations inside The Star Child, and we absolutely love giving young makers a place to shine.

Join our little family in a prime downtown Cambridge location with great foot traffic and a community that LOVES supporting local artists and makers.
