This is a call for immediate help. Another year under our belt, just received our 15th year animal shelter license renewal from the Dept. of Agriculture. That's the good news, the bad news is between COVID 19 and Biden omics we are losing our means of revenue. Our landlord has put the thrift store property up for sale and decided not to give us a new lease and as of the first of the year we have zero revenue coming in. The past year has been our most expensive year ever with our dog food cost up on an average of 20% from $12,318 to $15,330 for 2023. Along with other operating expenses it's been a crazy couple past years. But the real killer is veterinarian overall health care cost up 40, 50, and in some cases over 100 percent. In the past Paws Place has always pretty much been self-reliant by paving our own path, only relying on with great gratitude 10 to 15% donations and fundraisers. So, in order to weather this storm until we can find a new thrift store location or a new means of revenue we urgently need your help today.
