Sometimes you just gotta make a fancy piece of shop furniture. In fact, that's kind of my mantra. I'm in the shop so much, I just want nice stuff in there. It makes me happier. This cabinet will house all the accessories for my Origins.

I believe this is how you do a sign reel? This is my first time so be gentle. Seriously though, this was a fun new experience. Never done a 3D sign and I'm really happy with the result.

Have you ever milled your own lumber? I used wood from a sycamore I took down at my old house 4 years ago. I milled it, dried it and turned it into lumber myself.

What's your favorite shop gadget? Tell me in the comments what it does. This is mine. It's a finish/paint can lid that has a stirrer built in and a self closing pour spout. It makes pouring finish SO quick and simple! Saves me so much time.

We got to make these custom saloon doors for one of our clients in San Francisco a few weeks back. They are quarter sawn veneer over a laminated ply substrate. We got the veneers from . They had exactly what we needed to match the rest of the project (which we also did). The two redwood tables were sourced locally and are sequenced pieces. Really glad we got to do more work for this client!
