At long last....we can announce there will be an auction of the final contents of Cameron Antique Mall & Furniture Depot. It will be Saturday, May 11 at the building on East Baldwin Street, Cameron, MO. There will be updates as they are available.

We marked the two-year anniversary of the passing of Jerry and Florence Kinder on August 31, 2022. They are still greatly missed in Cameron.

Their estate has been in probate during this time, but there should be some announcements coming soon about the settlement. Please keep the attorneys, beneficiaries, family, friends, buildings and inventory in your thoughts for a positive outcome.

Remember Jerry and Florence were happy people and would want everyone else to be happy also.

The Celebration of Life for Jerry and Florence Kinder will be Friday, June 25 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron, MO. Visitation is at 9 am with the service following at 10 am. It is with great sorrow that we report the passing of Cameron Antique Mall and Furniture Depot proprietors, Jerry and Florence Kinder. They were discovered in their home in Cameron, deceased, by first responders on Monday, August 31, 2020. It was confirmed today by Cameron Police that there was no foul play involved and they both passed from their severe health problems. Now that the investigation is nearly complete and family has been notified, we can announce this sad news.

The store will remain closed until further notice, and funeral arrangements will be posted here as they are available. Please leave condolences and happy memories or stories on the comments on this post. Jerry and Florence ran a successful business in Cameron for 47 years. They made many friends in the community, and their love for the business was only overshadowed by their love for each other. They will be dearly missed.

Due to the Covid -19 closures, Jerry and Florence have not been at the store very much, just cleaning and tidying. But things are opening up and they hope to have regular hours soon!
