Well…all I can say, with the most resounding sincerity—is THANK YOU.

The first Saturday of the Fairport Farmers Market was a huge success, and we’re grateful for and humbled by our loyal regulars and new customers alike. Without fail you remind us exactly why we do what we do.

On a very human note—we’ve had a hell of a winter. Family health crises, challenging (day job) work concerns, plus navigating life with 3 kids and getting the Budbreak season started has had us reaching for reserves (all kinds) we hoped we had. Pete and I grind it out as needed—I don’t say that as a “good” thing. We work hard to find the balance point so that everyone’s physical/mental health is in check, so we get time together as a family, but also so the work gets done. The house-work, the work-work, the home-work, the garden-work etc. Too much of the time, we feel like we fail at finding that balance point.

Spring comes around with a new energy; a new burst of resilience, a reminder that the only way out is through. It’s an exciting, daunting, nerve wracking, and hopeful time of the year for all those growing (strictly and metaphorically).

But as I sat at my table after the market yesterday, starting more seeds, reflecting and enjoying a celebratory beverage…I couldn’t help soaking in our great fortune and looking forward to another incredible season. I think it’ll be our best yet. 🌱

It’s tulip season! The Fairport Farmers Market starts tomorrow!

We’ve had a doozy of a winter and are thrilled to finally be through it. There are so many things to celebrate and we hope you’ll come out and join us at the market tomorrow (5/2) from 8am-Noon.

Grab a bunch of these beauts before they’re gone! We had some greedy little snouts (🦨) get into a good chunk of our tulip harvest this year— but the ones that made it are really showing off.
