In my happy place every single day until after dark. We only get 4 months of sunny outdoor weather so I’m soaking up every minute. I went light on the garden this year with tomatoes, pumpkins, berries and flowers. It’s the perfect amount for therapy and not anxiety 😉 Now that I remember how to make a post I’ll have to show you my latest outdoor project I’ve wanted to do for 3 years. 🖤 (thanks for the best outdoor furniture ever at the best prices)

I love using my favorite every day colors of white, brown and black with small seasonal changes. These dried stems are on their third fall season over here and they add the perfect amount of texture. This year they landed on the dining table but some years they have been next to the sink or on a tray in the living room. I also use the tall sticks throughout the spring and summer with a bowl of shells and starfish. Invest in what you are drawn to (it’s all about the color and texture for me) and use it year round!

Heading to the coast to celebrate my sweetheart and RELAX for the weekend! Worked hard to get the house prepped for fall this week and brought in all my favorite textures. The only thing I like better than going away to relax is coming home to a clean dialed in house. 🖤

I have dug high and low for a “missing tote” of sale pillows all week. All week. Turns out there is no missing tote. You all bought the missing pillows at the last sale. We left with 7 and came home with 4 not 5 full totes. Thank you for that. 🖤 So I had to do what I know you’ll love and pull out some “new for the website” aka “the best of the best of the best” to bring tomorrow. You’re very welcome 😉 and I can’t wait to see you in Aurora!

I really wanted a mirror in the entry way and after searching online and at a couple of stores I kept coming up empty handed. Then I remembered we keep forgetting to put our old bathroom mirror (swipe to see the black color)in the goodwill runs. Sweetie also reminded me there was a “really old and gross mirror” next to the garage fridge. Indeed there was and not gross but a truly vintage mirror with the BEST patina on the glass. So I channeled my inner and painted both a glossy white last night. I couldn’t be happier with these freebies and look at how the early morning light bounces off them!

I couldn’t imagine a world without in it. I’m simply obsessed with everything he does. Everything. Light and bright but layered in warmth. Dark and moody that simply draws you in and begs you to stay a while. He’s just that good. Also if you’ve been here a before you know how much I love and he has an episode on the show Point of View. Go watch it!!
