Another day, another spring morning down by the blossoms.

While most of the trees have buds on them now, there is still only one tree in the main set along the riverwalk that is really blossoming. I captured a few images over the weekend, but today I wanted to go down for sunrise as more of the flowers had opened.

It was a busy morning down there, as at one point there were six photographers all around the trees. But for the first 45 minutes or so I had the area all to myself, and used that time to capture some blue hour images. I just love how the pink blossoms stand out against the sky, and when you add in the glowing bridge, it makes for amazing scenes.

Tons to come from a few spots around the city this morning, but this one is definitely my favorite.

Also, some very exciting news: I got in a three and a half mile run today, my first run since my accident a few weeks ago. I was sore at first, but by the end I felt GREAT. Looking forward to ramping back up again soon.
