Sometimes we all need a feel-good rescue story to start the week. 💛 This tiny one-week old kitten, was discovered abandoned in a window well by a friend of Sonya’s. Without hesitation, Sonya stepped in to help. The little one spent the morning with us at the shop while we searched for a rescue experienced in caring for neonatal kittens, because being so young, this was out of our hands. Thankfully, this sweet baby is now in wonderful hands thanks to Pawsitive Hope Inc. and Dr. Stacey Bridges! We’re so grateful for the compassionate people who go above and beyond to help animals in need. 🐾 We are wishing this tiny fighter a safe, healthy, and love-filled future!

On May 7, 2026, this person called and later came into Botanica Florist twice, around 1:15 PM and again around 3:30 PM. He placed a large order totaling over $900 for 10 floral arrangements, claiming they were for the Boys & Girls Club for Mother’s Day.

Because of the size of the order and the holiday rush, we stopped what we were doing during one of the busiest floral holidays of the year to fulfill his request for all red rose arrangements. Some flowers even had to be specially sourced to complete the order.

Days later, the transaction was disputed as fraud, leaving our family and veteran-owned small business with a significant loss. A police report has been filed.

We are asking the community for help identifying the person in these photos. If you recognize him or have any information, please message or call us privately.
