Hello everyone, like I said in a previous post, due to a family situation (and some other factors) the time has come to close Small Studio. Thank you to everyone that has reached out with words of support, it has been a pleasure getting to know everyone over the last nine years. Most of the paper, craft supplies, and ephemera are gone which means it is time for the yarn sale!

All yarn, patterns, needles, and notions are 60% off. Come shop in person today, tomorrow, and Sunday Aug 25-27 between 11am and 4pm. The address is 800 Market Ave North, Suite 135, Canton, OH 44702. The building has signs out front saying McKinley Healthcare and Rehab, and Small Studio is a suite within the building.

Hello everyone,

I'm writing with a heavy heart today to announce the closing of Small Studio. Due to a family emergency, I am preparing to move back to Michigan to be closer to my family. Owning the store has filled the last nine years with excitement and creativity, and now it is time to finish this chapter of life and begin a new one.

To help clear out the remaining inventory quickly, I am hosting several "fill the bag" sales until everything is gone. This weekend will be paper, ephemera, art supplies, and misc decorative items only (no yarn or knitting supplies.) There are 4 different sized bags ranging in price from $3 to $30, and it is a flat price for however much you can fit in the bag! Sale hours are Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13, 11am-4pm. Inside the McKinley Healthcare building at 800 Market Ave North, Canton, 44702, suite #135.

All yarn, knitting, and crochet supplies will have their own sale later in the month. The dates are TBD, so keep an eye on your email. For those of you that cannot make it in person, use the coupon code CLOSING on my website for 60% off everything.

Introducing Small Studio's newest employee Ada Elizabeth Brubaker! My little assistant joined the company March 3rd, 2023. Her first craft project was footprints at the hospital at just an hour old. She doesn't knit ot crochet (yet!) but her favorite blankies are all handmade. And she is giving away free baby smiles to everyone that visits, no coupon required!

Hello from your long lost friend at Small Studio!

2022 has been an interesting and busy year, kicking off with closing my North Olmsted location in January and moving everything to a new space in Canton. Time goes by so fast, and the months from February to August went by in what seemed like the blink of an eye! Labor Day weekend is already here, and so is the 15th annual Yarn Discovery Tour beginning on Tuesday the 6th. I have worked very hard the last several months arranging furniture, installing shelving and cabinets, unpacking boxes, and restocking inventory... I'm excited to finally open my doors to the public during the month of September!

Hours for September 6-25 are:
Sunday 11-5
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday CLOSED
Thursday 11-6
Friday 11-6
Saturday 11-5

The new space is located inside the McKinley Center at 800 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44702. Locals to the area may recognize this as the old McKinley High School building. It is now primarily a nursing home on the upper floors, so all visitors to the building are required to wear a mask and check in at the front desk. Small Studio is on the main floor, a short walk from the front desk, follow the posted signs.

I am looking forward to having visitors again, and catching up with everyone! Chatting with customers and hearing about the projects everyone is working on is my favorite part about owning a store, and I have missed everyone terribly. I've been super busy the last month and a half, working on moving out of the North Olmsted location and into the new space in Canton.
