It’s been impossible. This is my third watermelon to purchase and try to make them. This one was still on the thin side but I made it work.
Now what do you do with these. Great in a summer cocktail, with ice cream over a salad or just as a snack.

I’m slowly getting better. I’m feeling spiritually much better. Still have ways to go to get back where I was. Doctors have determined I have NAFLD. Which is non alcoholic fatty liver and it’s from my diabetes. And I had a fall and I injured my back. I saw my Doctor this week and he says not only did I do new back injuries, I also aggravated a back injury from the 80’s. So take care of your back, it will come back to haunt you. It’s been a long long 3 months. And I am determined to get back to where I was. I miss living and doing the things I normally do.
So today I have done some canning. It’s not a job, it’s something I love doing. Stay tuned I will get my pantry filled back up.
And if there is a particular jam, jelly, salsa you want please let me know. Today the Autumn Cranberry Pear is a new one and the Pear Butter has always been a customer favorite for fall.
