Meet The Wayfinder!

Sometimes the best finds come with a good story!

I spotted this old Eastlake table in an antique store in downtown Paris, Texas, that was going out of business. I noticed it on my first trip through the store, but the price tag was enough to make me keep walking!

I finally decided to ask about it. Turns out, it belonged to the owner, not one of the vendors.

She looked at me and said, “Will 80% off work?”

Well, you don’t have to ask me twice! SOLD!

I even walked out with a vintage pair of handmade cowboy boots for next to nothing. Now THAT was a good day!

Fast forward to today, and that old table has become The Wayfinder.

I had so much fun bringing together two very different worlds: the ornate craftsmanship of the Victorian era and the bold colors and patterns of the Old West.

There’s something special about taking a piece that’s already lived a life and giving it a new purpose. Creating something beautiful for someone else to enjoy is what I love most about what I do.

The Wayfinder is the first finished piece in my new Cimarron Crossing Collection. A coordinating pair of Eastlake chairs, The Trail Keepers, will be joining it soon!

From storm clouds to statement pieces.
