Maybe you’ve wondered… 🤔
“Why do they have to close the store to get ready for an Open House?”

Well, come on behind the scenes at 1917…This is what it looks like before the pretty.

When we get ready for an Open House, we don’t just move a few things around. We dream up new spaces, rearrange, fluff, change displays and create little corners that we hope inspire you.

It looks a little chaotic around here right now… boxes everywhere, furniture in the middle of the floor, but then, little by little, it will all come together.

And that’s one of our favorite parts of 1917 — creating a place that feels like home, while giving you new ideas to take home with you.

So thank you for being patient with us when we close our doors today through Thursday. We promise… the mess is worth the magic.🖤
