This 6-tiered Spanish chandelier needed a complete rewire and restoration. Over 450 prisms needed to be cleaned, along with all brass sections. Rust needed to be removed and neutralized on the discs that the curved ‘crown’ sections were attached to and I recreated one of the curved brass pieces to replace one that was broken. Although time-intensive, the sparkling result is always worth the effort!

My customer purchased this Gallé lamp while living in Romania over 20 years ago, she had been unable to use this stunning piece in the States because it still had the European wiring. Having lived in Europe, I am very familiar with that kind of 220 wiring and was happy to convert it for use here.

Removed all of the prism chains and cleaned them on two chandeliers for a customer, along with all of the brass parts. Replaced all of the (scorched) sockets. The most time-consuming part is always rehanging all of the prisms, with many needing to be re-pinned. Tedious work but the end result is gratifying!

Let me bring the sparkle back to your crystal lamps!
My customer had a pair of Waterford lamps that were showing their age. The bases had become pitted and the crystal had become cloudy inside. After taking them apart, cleaning all of the pieces and refinishing the bases, they sparkle again like the beautiful lamps they are!

My customer is an avid model railroader and asked if I could convert an old switch stand lamp into a table lamp with an interior light and one on top with a shade. This one was used to mark switch turn outs on the Nickel Plate Railroad and was oil-powered, which meant that the interior was black with a dense layer of soot. After a lot of cleaning and some creativity, it turned out really well.
What a neat project and he was thrilled with the result:

“That is EXACTLY what I had in my mind. It is every model railroader’s dream. It would make the cover of Model Railroader magazine. It’s fantastic!”
