🍂 MIDWAY…HERE WE COME! 🎃

We’re getting ready for the festival in Midway, and I couldn’t resist giving you a little peek at a few things coming with us!

👻 Vintage ceramic Halloween pieces — cleaned up, refreshed and ready to come back out of hiding and be enjoyed again! I LOVE giving these older pieces another chance to shine. And yes…they light up! 🧡

🧺 And THIS basket! Handwoven in the prettiest soft, neutral colors with a sweet floral wooden bottom tucked inside.

I keep thinking how perfect it would be in a sewing or craft room filled with fabric, or beside your favorite chair holding yarn and a work-in-progress. Or blankets…magazines…even seasonal décor. So many possibilities!

That’s what I love about taking handmade and vintage pieces to a market—you never know which one is going to make somebody stop and say, “Ohhhh, I need that!” ❤️

⏰ TIME… where does it go?

Do you ever feel like you blink…and another week, month, or season has passed?

You keep saying…

“I want to take that class someday.”
“We need to get the girls together.”
“I’ve always wanted to learn how to make that.”
“I need to stop in that little local shop.”
“I’d love to make something special for my home.”

But life gets busy. And someday keeps getting pushed farther down the road.

That’s one of the reasons Countryside Blessings & The Creation Station means so much to me. ❤️

I don’t want this to just be a place where you buy something.

I want it to be a place where you DO something.

Come with your daughter. Bring your best friend. Meet someone new. Learn something you’ve always wanted to try. Paint the tree. Make the basket. Create the ornament. Make something for your home that actually has a story behind it.

Because we can always find another reason to wait…but we can’t make more time.

So I’m asking YOU because I want to plan around your life, not just mine!

🍂 FALL LOVER or HALLOWEEN GIRL? 🎃

This beauty was finished using Fashenhues translucent stains, allowing all those gorgeous fall colors and details to show through. Add the amber lights, a little shimmer and that deep brown base and OH MY! 🍂✨

I’m thinking this one needs to become a Fashenhues Fall Tree Class at The Creation Station!

The fun part? No two trees would have to look alike. I’ll show you how to layer and blend the colors, then you make yours uniquely YOU.

🧺 CAN YOU EVER HAVE TOO MANY BASKETS? 🧺

My answer is a very easy NO! 😂

But I want to know what YOU think…

Are you:
🅰️ “There’s always room for one more basket!”
🅱️ “I might have a slight basket problem…”

For me, baskets are pretty AND useful. I use them for flower arrangements, decorating, storage, serving, carrying things from here to there…and somehow I can always find a reason for another one. 😉

There’s just something special about creating something with your own two hands and then getting to take it home and actually USE it.

🤎 THE VOTES ARE IN… B WINS! 🤎

You all spoke, and this beautiful Nativity lantern is staying simple, timeless and just the way it is. ✨

And I think you made the right choice. There’s something so peaceful about letting the Nativity be the focus.

Each piece is hand-painted with Fashenhues translucent stains, displayed inside a wooden lantern and softly illuminated with an LED light on a timer.

Now I have another question for you… 👀
