I would take it as a personal favor if you, all of you, would make it a point to visit and shop at Sanctuary Boutique You. Home. Garden and the ClothesVine during the obstructive work of UGI on the south side of our block of West High Street (across the street from Whistlestop). This is the last thing a business needs during January. No idea what it is going to be like during Ice Fest this weekend - perhaps it will all disappear until next week. Thank you in advance for supporting your neighborhood!

HandCrafted Creations: Three Generations is a family contribution, with grandmother, mother, and daughter all working together to provide handcrafted crafts. Combining their creativity and strengths, HandCrafted Creations create a wide assortment of products such as pottery, whipped body butter, neck wraps, backpacks, cards, and everything in between.
HandCrafted Creations started with Courtney, daughter and granddaughter. Courtney has suffered from a brain tumor since she was four, in 1993. She lost her sight and the use of her right hand when she was nine, but that did nothing to stifle her creativity. After Courtney graduated high school, her and her grandmother Barbara began to create cards to pass the time. Courtney’s other creation is her pottery, all molded by her with some assistance and she hand paints many of them as well. She also assists with Debra’s spa items, specifically the shower melts.
Deb, mother and daughter, is the other main creator for HandCrafted Creations. Originally she made items to assist with Courtney’s products but it quickly grew to encompass multiple different products thanks to her many talents. She makes sewn items like backpacks, neck wraps, and works with essential oils for her spa items like shower melts, soaps, and body butter, and pottery alongside Courtney.
Barbara, mother and grandmother, helps both Courtney and Deb with their crafts. For Deb, she helps with crocheting her scarves and dishcloths. With Courtney she assists her with making her cards, sorting out the items she uses and giving them to her if she cannot do it herself. Her role may be small, but she is an essential part of the Three Generations.
New products are added frequently. Images of the new products and the fabric Deb uses can be found on facebook, and custom items can be made. Stop into HandCrafted Creations at the Carlisle Country Market to see what all they can do.
