A Carmel-by-the-Sea home, reimagined for how it’s meant to be lived in.

What started as an aging structure is now a bright, open retreat shaped by light, views, and clean design. New windows were key to the transformation, bringing in natural light and framing the surrounding landscape from every angle. From the main living space to the bedrooms, each opening was placed with intention, connecting the home to its setting and shifting how each space feels throughout the day.

Inside, warm wood tones and soft lighting balance the natural light, while the open layout and floating staircase keep everything connected. Outside, the home sits comfortably within its surroundings, now designed to be experienced just as much from within as it is from out.

Built for time together, with less upkeep and more room to enjoy where you are.

A 1980s condo, completely reimagined.

The original layout of Chic Contemporary Condo was closed off and compartmentalized, so we opened it up.
The kitchen moved to the center of the main level, creating a natural flow between living, dining, and cooking. We added a standout staircase with cable railings and white oak details to anchor the space, and built in Aging-in-Place features so our clients can stay comfortable here for years to come.

Progress continues at the Este Alomar project, and we’re getting closer to the finish line.

In this update, Cari (Interior Designer) and Katie (Sr. Project Manager) walk through the space to review final design details and make the last decisions that bring everything together. From finishes to final touches, every step moves the project closer to completion.

We’re excited to see this one come to life.
