This season, we will be a fill-in Vendor. We will be here through every week in October and back for many more!

Chili season is game on!

We came up with a brand new recipe using our Spicekick Chili spice packet, where you add just a few ingredients.

Crowd pleaser! Even my 12-yr-old loves it!

Spicekick® Smoky Chili Recipe without Beans

2 pounds beef stew meat, diced 1/4 to 1/2-inch
1 tablespoon cooking oil (like avocado oil)
1 packet (1.4 oz) Spicekick® Chili Seasoning Mix
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 (14.5 ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon masa harina (fine corn flour)
1/4 cup water

In a pan over medium-high heat, add oil. When oil is shimmering, add beef to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Brown while stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Stir in the Spicekick seasoning and paprika. Add the tomatoes and beef broth. Simmer 2-3 hours.

During the last 15 minutes of cooking: Whisk the masa harina into 1/4 cup water to make a slurry, then stir into the chili. Simmer until thickened.

Serve with shredded cheese, avocado, and lime wedges.

Makes 6 servings.

Great afternoon at the Indiana Grown x Meijer tradeshow. While Spicekick is already in all Meijer Indiana stores, I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to get face time with the Meijer local buyer team, store directors, and assistant directors.

Being present and making a last-minute decision to pitch ignited a conversation that made the whole day worth the trip. Those face-to-face interactions matter. 🔥🔥🔥 More on this soon.

On demo days, I always love running into other CPG food founders like BeeFree Gluten Free of BeeFree | Snack better & do good . Whenever I’m working where Jennifer is, I know I must be doing something right! Today we were both demoing at Meijer and customers were excited to enjoy samples with clean ingredients.
