This Valor gas fireplace installation in Carmel Valley Ranch came together layer by layer - from thoughtful planning and careful installation to the finishing details that make it feel like it was always meant to be part of the home.

The beautiful tile work was completed by Tony and his team at American Tile Company, making this another great collaboration with talented local craftsmen. We love seeing everyone’s work come together to create a finished space like this.

The finished fireplace may be what you notice first, but it’s the care and attention throughout the process that brings the entire space together.

For this beautiful Pebble Beach project, Jason and The Hearth Shop team brought their experience and craftsmanship to the installation of this Isokern wood-burning fireplace.

Steudler Masonry completed the beautiful stonework, bringing all of the elements together perfectly with the surrounding outdoor space.

We love seeing a project progress from the early stages to that very first fire - and working alongside talented local trades to bring a shared vision to life.

Continuing a Trusted Legacy

For nearly 60 years, The Hearth Shop has been helping families throughout the Monterey Peninsula create warm, welcoming spaces where memories are made.

After 46 years of dedicated ownership, Vicki and Tom Warner are passing the torch to Jason and Jamie Gaynor. We are honored to continue the legacy they have built and grateful for the trust they have earned within our community.

Many of you already know Jason, who has been part of The Hearth Shop for the past 21 years. During that time, he has worked in nearly every aspect of the business, helping homeowners, contractors, builders, architects, and designers bring their projects to life. This transition is built on familiarity, continuity, and the same commitment to exceptional service you’ve come to expect.

As we begin this next chapter, The Hearth Shop remains committed to providing:
