Our annual Indigo Dye Workshop returns to Tancredi & Morgen for its third year!
Spend an afternoon learning the art of indigo dyeing with artists Jessica Bovert and Emmaline Molloy of Valley Botanicals during this once-a-year, four-hour hands-on workshop.
We’ll explore organic indigo, traditional Japanese shibori, and fabric-resist techniques. You’ll learn how to prepare fabric, create distinctive patterns, build and maintain an indigo vat, and understand the dyeing process from start to finish.
Each participant will receive six napkins and two large hand towels to experiment with and will leave with a beautiful collection of hand-dyed textiles in rich shades of indigo blue.
The workshop also includes an instructional PDF so you can revisit the process and continue experimenting at home.

Light refreshments will be served. All experience levels are welcome, and gloves will be provided.
The workshop will take place outdoors with partial shade. Please wear a hat, an apron, and clothing you do not mind staining.
