Sherrie Swass began her journey in the world of fashion design before realizing her true passion: interiors. After completing her interior design degree, she started a successful model home design firm back in 1983. Sherrie believes that everyone has a story, which she enjoys reflecting in spaces with a tasteful presence. Her Feng Shui training and more than 35 years of design experience give her a unique ability to walk into a room and immediately get a visual of how the space should “feel.” This intuition and training allow her to create ideal placements that balance the mind and soothe the soul. Having witnessed firsthand the damaging effects of poor furniture choice both stylistically and financially and experienced the annoyance of delays for custom furniture, Sherrie decided to take matters into her own hands and started her own brand, SofaStarz. More than 6 years later, Sherrie has a custom furniture showroom and designs custom made furnishings in her clients’ desired styles in just 4-6 weeks, thanks to her collaboration with a family-owned California factory. Sherrie is your very own personal tailor for custom furniture, helping you create long-lasting pieces that both feel amazing and make sense for your space.
