Oh gosh sometimes I feel like an imposter sharing all of my soap making videos on the internet. I’ll tell myself nobody cares, or that everyone must think I’m so cringey. But I got to thinking about that today… and I think it’s actually really natural for humans to want to share what we live and enjoy with one another, and we’ve always done that within community. It just so happens that our platform is now super far reaching, but it doesn’t change that we want community. So the people who don’t like it or don’t care, that’s ok. They aren’t your community. Just keep showing up & sharing what you love. The right people will find you.

Making Pink Salt + Aloe today. ✨

Salt bars are such a unique kind of soap. I use a finer pink Himalayan salt inside the bar so it’s still super exfoliating without feeling overly harsh or scratchy on the skin. You get that smooth, scrubby texture while the aloe helps add a little nourishment and balance back in.

Then I top each bar with larger salt crystals because they’re just too pretty not to. 💗

These bars are definitely one of the trickier soaps to make because salt naturally speeds up the hardening and curing process. Once the salt goes in, you have to move FAST. There’s basically no time to hesitate or overthink the design.

But I love how clean, spa-like, and fresh these turn out every single time.

Cutting into a fresh loaf of Forget Me Not soap today and she turned out so dreamy. 💙

Creamy white soap swirled with delicate blue tones, topped with soft botanical details and a little bit of whimsy. Inspired by one of my favorite flowers and all the tiny beautiful things that deserve to be noticed.

One of my favorite parts of soapmaking is this moment right here. Waiting overnight, cutting into the loaf, and finally getting to see how the swirl pattern revealed itself inside.

This bar feels soft, nostalgic, and peaceful. Like pressed flowers in a book, cool mornings in the garden, and slowing down enough to appreciate beauty where you find it.

Use the good soap. ✨
