FLOWER FACT FRIDAY
Today’s fact / tip is how to take the rubber band off a wrapped flower bouquet. Sometimes you’ll purchase a bouquet and the rubber band around the bottom is twisted around it normally, like you’d expect. But, more commonly, it’s actually looped around one stem!
This is way easier for the person creating the bouquet but can make it tricky to take the rubber band off if you haven’t seen this method before. Hopefully the video helps!

In honor of back to school, I figured it’s a great time to re-introduce myself!

👋 Hi, I’m Kimberly, the person behind Blooms Because Flower Farm!

I started growing flowers (specifically for cut bouquet making) in my backyard in 2020 and quickly became addicted to growing and sharing flowers. 😂 I started donating flowers to care ministries, nursing homes, and others in 2022 and ended up donating over 200 bouquets that year!

I started selling flowers in 2023 to help fund my hobby / ministry. I still donate hundreds of bouquets per year but also sell bouquet subscriptions & occasionally do pop-ups in my front yard or at local businesses.

I’ve always loved flowers but never imagined how amazing it would be to use them to spread love and joy. Thank you so much for joining me on my journey and mission to spread the hope, joy, and love of Christ through Blooms Because. 💕

FLOWER FACT FRIDAY 🌸
One of my most frequently asked questions is: Do you have someone watch the flowers when you go out of town?
Nope! I just set the drip irrigation on a schedule and let nature do her thing.

Everything is extra beautiful when I get back! Normally I pick all the flowers a couple times a week so coming home to ~2 weeks of flowers is always a treat 😍

I’ve sneakily been out of town the last couple weeks and it’s so good to be back and playing with flowers again! I’ll post about our trip soon but in the meantime, here are a few photos of today’s delivery complete with 15 blessing bouquets that are heading out to spread some cheer 💕
