Our Sr Activity Center will be embracing our creative side.
Wednesday, June 24th, 9 a.m.
Come join us for a patriotic hat decorating session!! Some supplies will be provided. If you have anything to bring or donate bring it with you. Ribbon, felt, flowers, buttons, ric rac, jewelry, beads etc. Use your imagination. These may be worn during oust motorless parade on June 27th.

I had the opportunity to help a wonderful family with an Estate Sale this week. I have always viewed Estate Sales as a little sad. This week changed my mind. I had never met the family until last week. After getting to know them and listening to stories of mom/dad/ grandparents it became a blessing to share. Their main goal of selling items was hopefully finding loving homes for them. I shared stories with the customers of how the parents met in Okinawa while dad was serving in the Air Force. Mom brought her culture back to the USA and shared her love for her homeland and her new home . While going through the house you could tell she loved cooking, sewing and decorating. Dad loved tools, tools and more tools. He evidently was a self sufficient man. He had items for everything! I will forever ask about the family when visiting Estate Sales from now on!
