I completed and delivered the Shaker inspired bookcase. I built the bookcase from solid cherry. It features hand cut dovetails and other quality joinery methods. The piece took inspirations from a 19th century bookcase from the Skinner Collection such as the boot jack on the bottom of the case piece. The piece was finished with historical dye stain, shellac, and finished with Sutherland and Welles Tung Oil varnish. Robert Tolnai

Working on applying a hand-rubbed, tung-oil finish from Sutherland & Welles to this Shaker inspired bookcase. Planning to deliver it to my client mid-July.
