18th century Soapstone grenadiners badge mold/ button mold/ flintlock jaw pad mold. It’s 2 sided. This mold was made for other ranks badges. Molten pewter mix was poured a hole and then pulled out and cleaned up. The reverse side was used to make flintlock jaw pads, to hold the flint securely in the lock on the musket. These pieces were all found nearby each other.

Loyal Staffordshire Volunteers and 130th were the same regiment. Raised in 1794 and disbanded 1796. This regiment only had 166 fit soldiers and went down to 7 fit soldiers. An extremely rare buttons. These are officers buttons
