Portland Mattress Makers Since 1938 We've been locally handcrafting mattresses for families And we’re not just talking about our line of high quality, handmade mattresses. No middlemen.

Generations of Mainers have traveled to our Portland Mattress Makers factory and showroom for one simple reason – comfort. Since 1938, our commitment to comfort has been woven into every aspect of our business. From the showroom to the bedroom, your comfort is our top priority. That’s because we’re a very different type of mattress store. We build every mattress and box spring right here in our Portland factory, and sell them direct to you. So no extra markups. And definitely no high pressure sales tactics. Just a custom-made, perfect fit mattress, made by Maine craftsmen since 1938.

Our zero landfill pledge is rooted in a simple belief: old mattresses should not burden future generations. Whenever possible, we donate mattresses in good condition to people in need. Mattresses that cannot be donated. Are responsibly recycled through our partnership with Casella waste systems. By keeping mattresses out of landfills, we support our communities, reduce waste and help build a more sustainable future.
