Danforth Designed Mitch and Nancy create unique living environments for their clients, integrating personality, routine, and dreams into layout, function, and appearance.

Decisions about home are often based on what's available instead of what's possible. Mitch takes a different approach, helping his clients develop a vision for their ideal residence and then bring that vision to life. Stemming from backgrounds in civil engineering and a variety of design disciplines, he integrates form and function into homes that are structurally coherent, spatially engaging, and

visually stunning. His style can be described as fresh, bold, and inventive. Mitch takes into consideration how a given client thinks about the world, interacts with other people, and responds to existing spaces. He relies on these cues to inspire a uniquely conceived and carefully considered living environment. Mitch can join a client at any point in the process or guide a client through the entire process from start to finish. He hopes for his designs to open the minds of their visitors and support the growth of their inhabitants. Mitch is a native and current resident of Raleigh NC, and he is available to travel worldwide for the right clients and projects.

We just received word that our major project in Raleigh's Glenwood-Brooklyn Historic Overlay District received COA approval! That means "certificate of appropriateness".

The property overlooks Fletcher Park to the side and will have a MUCH improved park view once renovated! If you visit the park often, you likely know the house.
