Nomad Eco Stitches

Nomad Eco Stitches Making the world a greener place, one stitch at a time. Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my page. A little about me:

My name is Tracy.

I hope you find what you're looking for, and if not - shoot me a message and we'll chat! I am a wife to a Marine, a proud mother of two beautiful children, and the creator of Nomad Eco Stiches. My love for stitching began when my husband bought a sewing machine for me to take up as a hobby. Little did he know, it would eventually help create a business! I mainly began sewing when my daughter becam

e pregnant with her first child, Arabella. I wanted to make cloth diapers for my granddaughter and after her birth, I made my daughter postpartum pads due to the disposables being rough on such a delicate area. I enjoyed it so much, that it became a business that I absolutely adore. People ask where the name of my business comes from. A "nomad" is defined as a member of a people or tribe that has no permanent abode but moves about from place to place. As I stated above, my husband is in the Marines, and if you know anything about the military, you know families do not typically stay in one place for a long period of time. In fact, we have had 10 different addresses in the past 8 years. The "eco" part of the name comes from my love of reusable-anything! I'm an advocate for the environment and for treating our land with the respect that it deserves. I hope this has given you a little insight into why I do what I do. I truly do believe in leaving the world a better place than how I found it.
