I bought an old dresser from a shop in town not the best but lm a sucker for old beat up old furniture. This one was bad 2 drawers wouldn't come out so my son stopped by to help get them out and what a surprise. There was 4 hole in this dresser built 1934. We started looking closer and my son started laughing you know what happened mom, grandma caught grandpa in the bedroom with another woman. LMAO. No joke l said. I didn't fill the holes in the drawer l left a note for the next owner. What do you think happened.

Im almost done with the Holiday stuff. Got the Candles all done for the shop. I did them in Coconut wax, now they have to set for 14 days to cure. This is all new to me because l've always done Soy but it was getting to hard to work the wax and adhere to the jars. I love this wax. The fragance is light until you start burning the candle, then you will be over come with a delightful fragance that will fill the room. The burn time is longer than soy. The vessels l got are ceramic with a bamboo lid there beautiful. White, Pink, & Green. They can be used for jewelry, pen holder & other things you come up with after you've burn them. Recycle.

To all of you who knew Patricia Hooper, she did all the art work at the shop. We became very good friends over the years, they moved away in 8 months before l sold. She called me 3 weeks ago to let me know she had terminal Cancer. I just cried over the bad news. She has about a year. So please send your prayers she will need them.
Now on to me, lve been having back pain for several years. My back, hip & left leg. They got so bad they did an MRI and last week l found out l have Spinal Cancer. Im relieved now to know. I cant drive long distances. So Mtn. Home l dont thing l can make it back this yr. But l may find a driver. I going to the cancer dr in 2 weeks to start some type of treatment. I miss you all very much & was hoping to get back.

This Facebook isnt working for me. They have temporarily closing my shop. Im OPEN Thursday to Saturday from 11 to 3pm. By Appointment on Wednesday. Been busy getting things in order for the holidays. New Coconut candles, salt scrub soaps, speciality foods, vintage jewelry.

It's been awhile but l'm all settled in at home in Ephrata, Wa. and enjoying what l have. I miss Mtn. Home but l landed in Soap Lake to put a business in. 1 blk from the lake on Main Avenue. This is a 3 maybe a 5 block town. So l decided to set up shop and work it 4 days a week. Just Restyled has landed in its 7 cities in Washington & ldaho & this is the last. Here are a few of my pictures of my new shop. My son is doing his leather work its really popular with the locals.

Well as l get ready to part from Mountain Home l will start a 20% off sale on things that are left at the shop. Yes everything transfer furniture and small. There is so much left l don't know whats there anymore so if you find a #3 on the tag its mine. Now if your new it called the Yellow Rose Cafe and Mercantile @120 N. Main. Yes construction going on remember the alley to get into the store. They would love to see you. Lunch is served everyday from 11 to 3pm. Breakfast on Saturday 9 to 4pm.
