In 2023, I lost 3 pregnancies. As many of you know, I also work as an OBGYN nurse, caring for pregnant patients every day. You can imagine the mental toll this might take on a person

I had already started the business, but after losing three pregnancies AND having a near-death experience birthing my daughter, it became more clear

Life is too short to spend it NOT doing the thing you love. I found comfort in the fact that flowers are beautiful and temporary. They’ve taught me that life holds many things in store for us, both beautiful and tragic. If we can learn to embrace both, we can find balance and stability

If you or a loved one has experienced pregnancy loss, infertility or the loss of a child, I invite you to attend Sanford Bemidji’s Walk to Remember. I’m currently co-chair of the PETAL organization at Sanford Bemidji. This group’s purpose is to support those who have experienced this type of loss. The Walk is an annual event we host to allow people to remember their loss and to connect with others who have felt the same type of grief

Join us Saturday, October 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sanford Bemidji. You can register in person at the East entrance of the hospital. There will be a short program as well as kid activities, a silent auction and a bloom bar (provided by yours truly). The Walk will take place around the Sanford Bemidji campus and end with a short tree planting ceremony.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of how long ago your loss may have occurred or if you’d just like to be there in support.

I can’t tell you how thankful I am for everyone’s support and how much joy it brings our family to open the Farmstand every weekend. I’m genuinely intrigued by what you guys choose at the stand week after week.

I won’t give away too many details, but I’m already brainstorming how to make next season’s Farmstand even better!

🍁 Happy Fall Ya’ll 🍁

The weather has shifted literally overnight. While Fall is my favorite season, it can be bittersweet. We’ll soon be saying goodbye to the Farmstand flowers foe the season

🌻This weekend is your chance for a little Autumn Glow. Next weekend is our “planned” season close, but we’ll keep an eye on the weather. Our field tends to be 2-5 degrees COOLER than the general air temp. That, and the lower daytime temps actually make the flowers grow slower
