Venturing into new territory and leveling up my woodworking game with some new additions to the portfolio. We just wrapped up our first fully custom Telecaster-style guitar here in the shop, and it’s been one incredible learning experience. Plenty of lessons, a few mistakes, and a lot of problem‑solving — all leading to a clean, classic take on a Fender Telecaster built entirely from scratch.
This build features a solid mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fretboard, and custom maple-and-rosewood inlay work.
The best part by far was crafting this piece alongside my son, Mason. Moments like that make the work truly special.
