It’s been a very slow last week and half for me, but I’m feeling healthy again and have finished the cutting and grinding of Dozer. Should be finished next week 😍 Stephanie Lial

His nose is black but the inside of his big ol lips is brown like his eyes❤️

This is an attempt at black patina . Not successful, also not my first, and most def not my last…😆😑 if I want to be successful

Patina is a chemical to change the solder color. It’s silver originally but you can change to black or copper. If you use copper then you need to use copper came. That’s my next chlenge! Copper came is harder to bend and requires new tools.

Black patina can be done using the supplies I currently use, but it’s all about prep. It can be tedious and I continue to try new aids to help with my hands.

I tried a Dremel and a rotating polisher 😆 open for ideas!

In this case I think the bad result was because I rushed the preparations, which shouldn’t be done!
