Sometimes you have to pause the orders for a minute and make something for your own business. ❤️

Today’s project was a custom stamp for our bags and boxes—one of those little details that helps make our packaging feel a little more polished and a little more Fox Trail Designs.

Meet our Emotional Support Animal herd! Each little character is made from a mix of beautiful wood veneers and comes holding its own bit of encouragement, humor, or questionable life advice.

There’s a little something for everyone—from sweet and encouraging to slightly feral. 😂

And if you love an animal but want a different saying, custom sayings can be ordered too!

A little behind-the-scenes look at Jimothy coming to life! 🦝

Each little Jimothy magnet is actually made up of 14 individual pieces, cut from a variety of different woods and assembled one tiny piece at a time.

This is an intarsia-style technique, using the natural colors and grains of different woods to create the design—and it’s hands down one of my favorite ways to make things. ❤️

It may look a little chaotic on the workbench, but this is the fun part! A whole herd of Jimothys is officially in the works—magnets AND ornaments coming soon to The Vintage Phoenix! 🦝🥰
