As a designer by trade, I pride myself in the knowledge I’ve acquired over the past 5 years working in the construction industry alongside other building professionals. This journey has allowed me to continue this passion, where I’m able to work with my hands everyday in the field with my partner and talented tile contractor 🛠️🤍

With every project, we follow a few simple steps when it comes to putting our curated spaces back together📝

1️⃣ Demo: Out with the old, in with the new! We demolished, removed, and cleared the space, making room for a fresh start. Saying goodbye to the old tile and fixtures was the first step towards transforming this bathroom into a dream space.

2️⃣ Tile Work: Quality is key! We spared no expense in using top-notch materials, ensuring durability and longevity. With Laticrete setting products, we prioritized proper waterproofing for a bathroom that stands the test of time. Plus, our meticulous approach, paired with the Vortex leveling system, guarantees smooth surfaces without any lippage. And let’s not forget the satisfying final touch - grouting!

3️⃣ Rebuild: From the ground up, we meticulously reconstructed every detail. Drywall, new tile underlayment, fresh coats of paint, and carefully selected fixtures all came together to breathe new life into our space. Each step was crucial in creating a foundation that’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

4️⃣ Results: 🥁 Behold, the final reveal - a beautifully finished bathroom with a custom walk-in shower that exceeds expectations.

However, armed with advanced technology and a meticulous eye for detail, I transformed what could have been a daunting endeavor into a seamless, client-approved vision. 💭

In the initial stages, I recognized the paramount importance of thorough planning and design. Harnessing the power of cutting-edge 3D modeling software, I meticulously mapped out the existing space, allowing me to visualize and iterate upon various design concepts long before the first swing of the hammer. This foresight not only ensured efficiency but also facilitated informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Moreover, by integrating physical samples of finish selections directly into the virtual environment, I transcended traditional design presentations, offering our clients an immersive glimpse into the finished product. With each element meticulously curated and refined within the digital realm, I was able to instill confidence and excitement in our clients before the renovation even commenced.🔨

Crucially, the transition from virtual conception to tangible reality was seamless, thanks to the seamless integration of real-time rendering and virtual reality technologies. Backed with photorealistic renderings, I crafted a bespoke design proposal that captivated our client’s imagination and garnered immediate approval.

After nearly 4 weeks of dedicated craftsmanship, I am thrilled to unveil the culmination of a truly special project, brought to life in collaboration with my fiancé and talented tile contractor . Together, we transformed a dated guest bathroom into a sanctuary for our family members to enjoy.🥂

Our journey began in a dated space frozen in the 90s, lacking both storage and practicality. Our mission: reimagine, rebuild, and preserve.🚪

Embracing a transitional design, I retained the floor plan, adding clever storage and a lighter palette. Luxurious tiles, earth tones, and open shelving defined my vision.💡

The final masterpiece—a custom walk-in shower adorned with ceramic wave tiles to the ceiling, seamless mosaic penny rounds, and sleek marble slabs. Brushed nickel finishes lent timeless elegance, while every detail, from towel bars to light fixtures, was meticulously curated. Sustainability was woven throughout, with reused materials and thoughtful design choices.💌

We spared no effort, from field measurements to detailed 3D modeling, to bring the vision to life. The result? A luxurious space that marries form with function, boasting stain-proof durability and impeccable color consistency in grout selections.🎨

After a journey filled with friendship, collaboration, and boundless creativity, there is no better time than now, on your birthday, to announce an exciting milestone with my partner in crime.. 🎉🎈

On 2/2/2024, I said YES to the love of my life. Every day shared with you is a gift, and I couldn’t love the private life that we continue to build together more than I do now. Friends and family know you as Joey, clients and customers know you as Richard, but I couldn’t be more proud to call you my Fiancé💍

My path intersected with Richard’s, the visionary behind Richard Foley Tile Co, back in January 2020, during my tenure as a design consultant at Best Tile. Little did we know that our chance meeting would eventually blossom into a beautiful partnership, both personally and professionally. 🌟💑

Over the course of nearly two years, I had the privilege of working alongside Richard, supporting him and his clientele, and occasionally assisting with backsplash installations, where I eagerly absorbed his expertise. 🛠️

Our connection deepened, and in mid-2022, we officially became a couple. However, our individual journeys continued until 2023, when I made the decision to join Richard as his assistant tile setter and social media coordinator while putting my design business at the forefront of my career. 🎨

Together, we embarked on bathroom renovations, crafted custom showers, and seamlessly integrated my design sensibilities into our clients’ projects. 🏡

This year, we continue as a dynamic duo, tackling projects with passion and purpose. From intricate tile patterns to exquisite interiors, our collaboration knows no bounds. As we embark on this new chapter as partners in both love and business, we’re thrilled to invite you along for the journey!

In the fall of 2019, my life was a whirlwind – a waitress at two restaurants, a full-time college student, and a caregiver to my beloved grandparents. Little did I know, the winds of change were blowing, and I was about to embark on a transformative path. 💨❤️

As my grandparents and I prepared to downsize from our spacious colonial home, my mission was clear – find a place where my culinary enthusiast grandmother could thrive and design spaces that would enrich our lives. 🏡🍽

January 2020, my second semester at Cazenovia College opened doors to the start of my career as a Design Consultant at Best Tile. I dived into the world of tile, mastering the intricacies of products, installation, and the art of conveying technical solutions. 🧩🔍
I collaborated with a diverse range of clients, transforming kitchens, bathrooms, and spaces with cutting-edge tile solutions. My passion for design and a profound knowledge of setting materials paved the way for me to create orders and lead projects. 🛠️💡

We are thrilled to release our past & present projects, & felt there was no better place to start than with one that will warm the heart.

In September, one of our clients reached out with a heartfelt mission: to help create a warm & inviting space for her sister, Jen, who had faced hardships. With Jen's modern boho aesthetic in mind, we embarked on a transformative journey.

🌿 Initial Challenge: Jen's existing interior environment didn't reflect her style or personality. Our client initially sought our assistance to arrange the existing furniture. Given our history, we were eager to lend a hand. However, after learning about the brave details of Jen’s story, we put her personal wellness at the top of our priority list.

📞 Building Support: We began by reaching out to our network of connections, seeking support from local business to make Jen's dream a reality. Our heartfelt thanks to & for their generosity & involvement.

🌞 Jen's Vision: Jen shared her love for white, creams, neutrals, brown leather, & boho-style furniture. She wanted her space to exude warmth & individuality, distinct from her sister's aesthetic.

📋 Design Proposal: We crafted a detailed proposal, offering Jen a glimpse of the transformation. With a focus on creating an inviting atmosphere that aligned with her style, Jen’s enthusiasm was palpable.
