The little princess was ready to graduate from her crib, so I put on my elf hat and went to the garage. A few days later a rough sketch began to take shape. The reveal happened on Christmas morning and tonight she is sleeping in her big girl bed for the first time.

I recently had a special request to turn bottle stoppers into the Peg Game for a customer to give as presents to the whiskey lovers in her life. I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out, using native Texas Pecan, Mesquite, and Walnut.

Last fall I was asked to make a dresser in "my free time" that was similar in style to one built by my mom-in-love's father before he passed. It was a tall order, but I finally was able to deliver it recently. This dresser is made of solid maple faces and moulding with birch drawer and cabinet boxes. Thanks to ebay, I was even able to get matching hardware. Next up is making the mirror!

Was recently commissioned to make a custom Pizza Peel, and I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out using native local Pecan. I even got to test out the on the handle that is joined to the board with a half-lap inset and walnut dowels.
