I don’t normally restore furniture pieces, I reimagine, restyle, and refinish. However, these solid wood nightstands from the 60’s were in such good shape that only a few minor repairs were necessary to get them looking their best. My friend offered me this piece, saying she loved it (see last photo) but was moving and had no room for it in her new place. I promised her that if she still loved it when I was done with it, it was hers! Sure enough, she fell even more in love with it and made room in her new apartment. I stripped, sanded, scrubbed, scrapec to no end. As I removed all the paint I realized what a beautiful piece it was and wanted to showcase its history and original beauty. I am very pleased with the results, and even more pleased my friends are enjoying it once again! ⭐️
