Let's go back, back, back to Throwback Thursday! Steak in Cedar Hill.

In April of 2008, Napa Steak and Vine was on the books and coming to Cedar Hill. It was a local steakhouse in Plano and Uptown Village (now Hillside Village) was courting the owners for a second location.

We don't know for sure, but it looks like it didn't open. Does anyone know?

Let's go Throwback Thursday! At the Ranch.

Back in 2003, The Ranch shopping center was approved and started consruction in Cedar Hill. It was home to several establishments such as Veracruz (still there) and Paradise Cowboy (retired to Florida!). Check it out! Next to Comfort Inn on 67.

It's Throwback Thursday again! WiFi for all.

Back in 2008, Cedar Hill was looking into providing city wide wifi for everyone. That is a pretty awesome service although there would likely be a fee to use it. There used to be free wifi downtown but that is no more. And we believe city parks still have wifi during games (don't quote us).

As recently as 2003 The Timbers gated community of Lake Ridge had their ribbon cutting ceremony. Interesting since Lakeridge development started in the mid-1980's.
