Scrapmania Retreat House is a beautiful 4 bedroom home complete with 2 baths perfect for scrapbooking, card making & quilting! This home features 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs, with 5 twin beds on the main floor and 4 upstairs. Our large kitchen allows you the ability to cook o

n site, complete with all the cookware & dining ware you will need including an air fryer, Keurig, crock pots, wine glasses and everything you could possibly need. If you are not in the mood to cook, there are many close by eating establishments. There is also a grocery store just up the hill. We have plenty of on street parking and 2 driveway spots. We are easy to get to, just 13 minutes from Scrapmania! The house has a 3 seasons porch to sit and relax. We have free WIFI, TV with Netflix and a DVD player in the crop area. Tables & comfortable rolling chairs are set up for you prior to your arrival, along with individual Ott lighting and trash cans. Each spot also has an elevated stand to allow you more table space per person. We have a Cricut Expression on site for use (must bring your own mat) with many cartridges. We also have a Big Shot machine and hundreds of dies available for your use at no extra charge. No pets are allowed at the house. Smoking is only permitted outside, at least 10 feet from all doors. All attendees must be 18 or over, per our insurance guidelines. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please ask! I am happy to help! Current Rates: 3 days and 2 nights are $100 per person, check in is 10am, checkout is at 3pm, (most guests choose a weekend, but these rates apply for any 3 days, 2 nights), $20 per person per day for additional days

Minimum: 6 people per weekend rental, maximum 9 people (no minimum for additional days, like Thursday or Monday) We often have less than 6, they just pay the $600 and divide it among the attendees. Full Payment is required to secure each booking. I accept 1 check or 1 Venmo payment from the group leader. It makes it much easier for me to manage 1 person. I will hold a date for 10 days while waiting on the group leader to collect payment from their group. After 10 days, I will release that date if payment is not received from the group leader. Previously, I have had last minute cancelations, so I am going to be firm about not holding dates until payment is made. No refunds, if there is a blizzard, we will allow you to move your date within 1 year of your original reservation. Please note it is Iowa, and we do expect normal snow during the Winter. Our state is prepared for snow and ice, and does a good job preparing for bad weather, and cleaning the streets afterwards. Ready to book a stay? We'd love to have you join us! Pack your clothes and your scrap/card/quilt/knitting supplies & get ready for FUN! We have the rest covered for you! Towels and bedding are all provided. All reservations are first come first serve. Reservations are not refundable, (no exceptions) but they are transferable. If you are not able to make it, and you know someone else who can, they are able to purchase your spot from you. 👯 Perfect for Groups
Gather your crafty friends for a weekend filled with laughter, inspiration, and memories. Minimum of 6 crafters and a maximum of 9. You can have less than 6, you just pay the $600, divided among your group size, so a group of 4 would be $150 each instead of $100 each. Extras days are only $20 per person per day and there is no minimum on extra days! Stay all week, your never gonna wanna leave!

Buying gift cards from local businesses provides us with immediate cash flow & promotes community support, making it a great way to help small businesses like Scrapmania. We know you have choices, so choosing us is the biggest compliment you can give a small business!! I know it sounds funny that a store as big as ours is considered a small business, but we definitely are! 13,600 sq ft or not-we are a family owned business! Thank you for choosing us in the past and thank you for choosing us in the future! Your choices keep us going! ❤️

Scrapmania is closed today, but will open tomorrow and be open the rest of the week regular hours each day. Winter hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays are now 10:00-6:00.
