We know, folks. Here we go again.
We are adding another chapter to the Newsletter Debacle Saga. At this point, we’re throwing our hands up and thinking carrier pigeons might have a better success rate than we do at spreading the news.
A couple of weeks ago, we were notified that the marketing company we use is saying goodbye. I mean, we’ve been having issues, so… okay. This finally pushes us to a company with a household name.
But can I just say: I am SO not interested in transferring an obscene amount of data and newsletters or learning a new system. The last thing I need is another project.
Welp!
Turns out I can only start by emailing 3,000 of you at a time, and the delivery time is currently unknown to me—and apparently spread out over several days.
I have support bots telling me it could take 12–15 weeks to get back up to my normal customer sending capacity.
So, you will be hearing from us…sometime?
In the meantime, I’ll be adding each newsletter to the website homepage and sharing updates here on our social pages.
The goal behind the Carrier Pigeon Campaign is to get this message passed along to our customers, even if it has to take the long way around.
