🎀 October is extra special and you can help knit or crochet for a cause! Getting ready for both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I Love Yarn Day, and we’re celebrating with a GIVEAWAY!

Here’s how it works:
✨ Knit or crochet un-stuffed knockers using our approved yarns and patterns.
✨ Drop them off at any of the 21 participating yarn shops during October (see list below).
✨ The volunteers who turn in the most knockers across all shops will win! The top 5 contributors will each receive a $25 gift card to be used at their participating yarn shop.

Local Yarn Store Day is tomorrow, April 26th, join us 10-4p

Local Yarn Store Day (LYS Day) is an annual national celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community. It's dedicated to small businesses and the fiber enthusiast communities they bring together, offering unique yarns, expert advice, supporting friendship, and a welcoming space to learn and share.

Piney Creek Yarn (PCY) in Centennial is joining the celebration with free demonstrations of spinning, weaving, knitting, and crocheting. There will be specialists ready to answer questions you have in any of these subjects. There will be free knitting and crocheting patterns available for those wanting to start new projects (while supplies last).

Whether you're an experienced crocheter, knitter, spinner, or weaver or you're just starting your fiber journey, LYS Day is your chance to connect with others who share your love of all things yarn.

All Day - Trunk Show by Euphoria Knits (Local Dyer based in Aurora,CO).
Sample Sale
10AM to 11AM - Knit Demo by Alla.
11AM to Noon - Crochet Demo by Alla.
High Noon - Blazing Needles & Hooks, Knitting and Crochet Competition.
Noon to 2PM - Weaving on Rigid Heddle Demo by Robin.
1PM to 4PM - Treadle Wheel Spinning Demo by Anne.
1PM to 4PM - Electric Wheel & Drop Spindle Spinning Demo by Anita.
1PM to 4PM - Tablet Weaving Demo by Annie.

There will also be prizes awarded throughout the day.
