Aanii kina weya! Hello everyone!

It's been a couple weeks, and its just getting more chaotic. We know you come for the sweet crafty updates, and we have lots to share. But its almost June, we all have kids (some of us have grandkids) and its graduation season. Elementary going into Middle School. Middle school going into High school. Even a college graduate! It's all very emotional.

So we have ducks, and they're around here somewhere, but rest assured we will find them and get into summer-gear with some upcoming vendor dates! Please stay tuned for more updates, and congrats to all the graduates out there, and good luck to all of our parent/caregiver friends over the summer!

Screaming Gimaamiikwenimigo/Congratulations to one of us! Shelby V. Charette is now a college graduate! With high honors!

Yesterday she walked cross the stage in AZ. First in the family to graduate college! Your impressively unwavering focus and all that hard work all this time has paid off. Congratulations Shelb, we are all so proud of you.
I knew you would do it. You are my hero. 👩🏽‍🎓🎉🥳

Anushiik/Miigwech to everyone for helping to fundraise. After many many fundraisers and waffles to help hit her goal, this enabled her and her family to celebrate together.

Shelby is part of Kawi Takwax, the one thats usually laughing and rocking some wild hair (shes not one to blend in) so if you've seen us at powwow you've likely met her. If you see her with us out in the wild please congratulate her on this amazing accomplishment!

Aanii/Boozhoo/Hello!
Unfortunately we weren't among the accepted vendors for Ann Arbor Powwow. Thats ok, seeing more and more indigenous vendors out there makes every Powwow/jingtamook even better. I know we'll be attending as spectators, so maybe this year we finally get to see Grand Entry! 💃

Many powwows have a selection process, so while there are specific ones we plan to vend at doesnt always mean we're in. Just means we need to adjust when the plan changes is all. If the rez has taught us anything, its that we'll figure it out.
